AZ Nexus is an independent introducer. We introduce merchants to acquiring banks and payment service providers. Our role is limited to introducing prospective merchants, preparing their applications and referring business opportunities.

What we are not

AZ Nexus is not a payment institution and does not provide payment services within the meaning of the German Payment Services Supervision Act (ZAG) or the EU Payment Services Directive. We do not handle, hold, receive or transfer funds, and we do not process or execute payment transactions.

We are not an agent or representative of any financial institution, and we have no authority to bind, negotiate for or commit any provider to a contractual agreement.

Who decides

All decisions on merchant acceptance, onboarding, pricing and contractual terms are made solely by the relevant acquiring bank or payment service provider. Every agreement is concluded directly between the merchant and that provider. AZ Nexus makes no guarantee that any application will be approved.

How we are paid

We may receive referral fees from our partner providers in line with our agreements with them. This does not alter our independent status, create any agency, partnership or joint venture, or affect which provider we recommend.
